Overview
Almost all major tax software vendors have promised
you that their tax database is Open Database
Connectivity (ODBC) compliant or a
client server (CS) product. What does it mean to you?
The ODBC allows any
authorized person to access the database and create
output using existing data in the database. This is a
great way to reuse the compliance data. However, there
are not many corporate users who have accessed the
compliance data and created applications using the same.
There are even fewer vendors who created accessory
applications.
As an independent company, Tax Technologies, Inc. (TTI) creates extraction modules
for your tax compliance software so that you can reuse
the compliance data for tax planning and other purposes.
TTI can also help you create planning scenarios and audit
scenarios based on historical compliance data. Whatever
the reason may be, TTI can access any ODBC compliant
database.
In some other cases, the compliance data is not in ODBC
compliant database. Even in these cases, TTI can create
the output that can be imported into ODBC compliant
database such as Microsoft Access. Once the database is
created, TTI can create planning scenarios and audit
scenarios.
