| TAX TECHNOLOGIES PARTICIPATES IN IRS SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS CONFERENCE
Haworth, NJ, June 14, 2001 – Tax Technologies, Inc. attended a two-day conference sponsored by the IRS for
software developers. The conference was held on June 12th and 13th in Greenbelt, Maryland, and was especially
useful for current and future participants in the IRS e-filing program.
"The conference provided an excellent forum for Tax Technologies to gain insight into future e-filing
plans and partner with the IRS in improving current e-filing procedures," says Jeff Wenger, Chief Technology
Officer of Tax Technologies. "This type of IRS outreach will have a positive impact on our clients and the
e-filing program."
The conference was divided into two days with the first day targeting the individual tax preparation market
and the second day targeting the business tax market. Topics ranged from a review of current e-filing statistics
to discussions about future plans to support corporate tax return e-filing (Form 1120).
During the second day, Tax Technologies was one of three companies to participate in an E-Filing for
Business Experienced panel. Panel participation enabled Tax Technologies to share experiences encountered
during the e1065 application development and certification process with IRS leadership and other industry
participants. For more information about the e1065 application, please visit

IRS acceptance of Tax Technologies e1065 for e-filing does not constitute IRS endorsement or approval of
