Tax Technologies, Inc. (TTI) has created this privacy statement to demonstrate
its commitment to user privacy. TTI gathers important information from its
visitors and customers; therefore, it publishes this statement as a way to
communicate its information gathering and dissemination practices. TTI reserve
the right to change this statement and will provide notification of the change
at least thirty (30) business days prior to the change taking effect.
Collected Information
TTI requires individuals who register to use the services offered on its site to
provide contact information. TTI asks for information such as name, company
name, position, address, phone number, e-mail address, and financial and billing
information – such as billing name and address, credit card number, and the
number of users in an organization that will use the services. To offer better
service, TTI may also ask for additional information. Additional information may
include job description, department name, fax number, or additional company
information – such as industry, number of entities in company, or annual
revenues. Registrants can opt out of providing additional information by not

Tax Technologies, Inc. uses the information it collects to set up services for
individuals and their organizations. Because TTI is also providing tax filing
related services, it may use the information to authenticate registrants as
valid representatives of their organization. TTI may also use the information to
contact users and prospects to further discuss their interest in TTI's services,
and send information complementary to its services.
TTI does not distribute or share customer e-mail
addresses. It uses e-mail communication to contact users about software updates,
critical events, and complementary offerings. TTI may also elect to send a
Customer Newsletter. Customers can opt out of being contacted by TTI, or
receiving further information from TTI, at any time by sending e-mail to
support@taxtechnologies.com
Except as TTI explicitly states at the time it requests information, or as
provided in its terms of service, TTI does not disclose to any third-party
information provided. All financial and billing information that TTI collects
through the site is used solely to bill for services. This billing information
is not used by TTI for marketing or promotional purposes.
Tax Technologies, Inc. uses a third-party intermediary to manage the credit card
processing. This intermediary is not permitted to store, retain, or use the
information provided, except for the sole purpose of credit card processing.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their
user registration and passwords.
Customers of the service use the site to host data and information.
Tax Technologies, Inc. will not review, share, distribute, or reference any such
data except as provided in TTI's terms of service, or as may be required by law.
TTI will only view or access application information to determine appropriate
billing levels and ensure efficient performance of the software. TTI may also
track and analyze non-identifying and aggregate usage and volume statistical
information and provide such information to third parties. Other exceptions are
only made when required by law.
TTI uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with its servers, administer
its Web site, and gather broad demographic information.
Cookies
Cookies are files' Web browsers placed on a computer’s hard drive. TTI uses
cookies to help it authenticate users and provide time saving shortcuts and user
preferences. If selected by a user, TTI's system will save authentication
information in a cookie and skip future login requests.
Tax Technologies, Inc. issues a mandatory session cookie to each user for the
duration of his/her session. This helps with the authentication of the user to
the system. If the cookie is rejected, access to and usage of the service will
be denied.

responsible for the privacy practices or content of such Web sites.

TTI has security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and
alteration of data under its control.
TTI has teamed with Savvis Hosting to deliver its hosted products. In
this way, its applications are housed in Savvis's secure data center and leverage
the expertise of a market leader. This hosting system employs the following
technologies:
Dedicated Internet firewall
24-hour locked and biometric security access to our server vault
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) data encryption
Site monitoring and reporting services
Regularly scheduled backups with secured storage
Due to the nature of Internet security, Tax Technologies, Inc. does not provide
specific details about what security tools are deployed where, and reserves the
right to alter its security tools without notice. No security system is perfect,
and the responsibility of Tax Technologies, Inc. is limited to the terms
contained in the applicable service level agreement.

Opt-Out Policy
Tax Technologies, Inc. offers its visitors and customers a

In most cases, updates can be made to information online.
