Second Training – Dallas/Ft. Worth Area Training
International Tax and Compliance After Tax Reform
TTI will provide a 2nd international tax compliance training for 2018 tax year in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. This training will focus on the interconnected computations across GILTI, Section 163(j) limitations, FDII and BEAT computations. This course will also cover how the calculations are reported on new tax forms.
This training is organized based on very positive feedback from the New York training participants and requests from Dallas area companies. Here are some of the responses from New York training participants:
"Extremely informative presentation on 163(j), GILTI, tax return change. I found the comparison of the old forms vs. new forms extremely helpful." - Michael Boland, Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc.
"Fantastic in-depth view and explanation of forms and new tax rule. Loved the hand-out reference." - Angela Lee, Citigroup
2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) is fully effective for 2018 tax year for calendar year companies. IRS issues new forms (Forms 8990, 8991, 8992 and 8993) and provided revisions to existing forms (Forms 5471, 8858, and 8865). The calculations and reporting across these forms are extremely complex. In order to accurately calculate taxable income, it is critical that preparers understand the interactions across these calculations and follow the order of computations. We will provide examples for each of the steps during the training, so the participants can apply to their situations during the 2018 tax filings.
